Papers The
proceedings of
the conference will be published
as a special issue of the Journal
of Alloys and Compounds (JALCOM). JALCOM requires that every
publication is an original work:
"Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been
published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a
published lecture or academic thesis), that it is not under
consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is
approved by all authors and that, if accepted, it will not be published
elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language,
without the written consent of the Publisher." (from JALCOM web page).
The deadline for manuscript submission is May 15, 2006. Please, send your manuscript before this date via e-mail: scte2006 at if.uj.edu.pl. As the e-mail topic write: paper_symbol (eg. paper_CRS010) where symbol is the unique symbol of your contribution which will be send to you after your abstract is accepted. Please, note that there is a limit of one paper published in the conference proceedings per one conference participant. Unless one of the authors attends SCTE 2006 the paper will not be included in the proceedings. The referee process will follow JALCOM standards. During the Conference there will be 2 personal computers dedicated exclusively to the editing of manuscripts. We strongly encourage you to make necessary changes to your manuscript during the Conference and to provide revised manuscript directly to the Editorial Office. The deadline for submission of revised manuscripts is September 4, 2006. Manuscript preparation The manuscripts which do not fulfil JALCOM requirements will not be taken into account. The total manuscript length (including figures, tables, etc.) should not exceed 16 pages for invited lectures and 8 pages for contributed papers (it will be 8 and 4 pages in print, respectively). Before writing your manuscript, please, read Guide for Authors by JALCOM. We expect manuscripts in MS Word or LaTeX format. MS Word In order to facilitate manuscript preparation there is a template file for MS Word: MS Word Template
(doc)
LaTeX Please, use the LateX template file (you will need also elsart.cls - LaTeX class file): Please, do not forget to uncomment the line: \documentclass[doublespacing]{elsart} which is necessary to obtain double line spacing. Unless you uncomment this line you will not be able to calculate properly your manuscript length. More information about preparation of manuscripts in LaTeX is available at Elsevier Author Gateway (follow the links: Guide to publishing with Elsevier -> LaTeX file guidelines). |
