Hotel accomodation
Please,
book hotel and student dormitories accommodation as early as possible
because summer is the peak tourism season in Kraków.
Hotel
accommodation may be booked through the Jagiellonian University Office
for Academic Events and
Conferences.
Download the Hotel Reservation Form, complete it and fax it to: +48 12 663 38 58. Hotel rooms can only be reserved and confirmed upon receipt of a deposit, according to chosen category, as indicated in the price scheme. All rates are in Euro, per room per night, including breakfast (except at student dormitories) and VAT. Either bank transfer or credit card payments are accepted.
The deadline for guaranteed hotel reservation is May 14, 2006. After this date the Jagiellonian University Office for Academic Events and Conferences can not guarantee availability of selected hotels and rates. The reservations are made on the "first come, first served" basis. Please indicate your 1st and 2nd hotel choice by using A and B letters on the Hotel Reservation Form.
After receipt of the Hotel Reservation Form with the either one night's deposit prepaid by bank transfer or a credit card details for a one night's deposit guarantee participants will receive a confirmation letter by e-mail, indicating the name and address of the assigned hotel. Please note that in case of bank transfer the prepaid deposit will be deducted from your hotel bill when you check out; the remaining amount is to be settled directly with the hotel. The hotel issues an invoice for the entire amount paid (deposit and balance). In cases of a deposit guarantee made by credit card the card is not charged before the conference. The hotel payment is settled directly at the hotel on the entire amount when you check out. The confirmed hotel reservation is kept by the hotel exclusively in the Participant's favor. Hotel charges will therefore amount to the number of overnights stays requested and confirmed.
Changes of reservation can be made free of charge before May 14, 2006 and must be sent in writing to the Jagiellonian University Office for Academic Events and Conferences. After this date no changes will be accepted. Cancellation made before May 14, 2006, will be free of charge (only banking costs will appear). All cancellations made later (after May 14, 2006) will result in forfeiture of a one night's deposit.
