The program will include five 1.5 hour invited lectures , fourteen 45 min invited lectures (morning) and about 20 short (15+5)min. contributed seminars (evening). Lectures and seminars should be prepared on transparecies for overhead projector (no slides). Lectures and contributions (seminars) will be published in the School Proceedings. Please see the list of lecturers and lecture titles as well as daily program of the School.
MAIN TOPICS: In general, applications of the nuclear methods in investigation of condensed matter will be discussed. A broad spectrum of topics will be covered with emphasis on :
magnetism ( 2 days ),
synchrotron radiation ( 1 day ),
surface , interfaces, multilayers ( 1 day )
biological systems ( 1 day ).
Some lectures devoted to special topics in which application of the nuclear methods is useful are also planned.

PARTICIPATION: Scientists interested in the participation in the School are kindly requested to contact the organizers by mail or e-mail (it is possible to use registration form or online registration form ) before February 28, 1999. Those planning to give a seminar should include the title of the seminar, the list of authors with affiliation and the name of the speaker. In the view of limited participant number an early registration is advised.

PROCEEDINGS:
Lectures and seminars presented at the School will be published in the book Proceedings of XXXIV Zakopane School of Physics " Condensed Matter Studies by Nuclear Methods".
For the lectures we allot up to 30 pages and for seminars up to 4 pages ( "long seminars" may have respectively more pages).  The authors are asked to prepare the manuscripts in an electronically ready form following the posted instructions for authors. The files should be sent to the e-mail address condense@if.uj.edu.pl   before June 15-th, 1999 .
